1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MayB, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What MayB Does
MayB is a personal event-saving application that allows you to:
- Scan screenshots of event flyers to automatically extract and save event details
- Manually save and organize upcoming events
- Save flexible or recurring event ideas for later
- Share event details with others via a unique link
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not use MayB for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload to MayB, including event photos and notes. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it within the app for you and anyone you choose to share it with.
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
5. AI-Powered Scanning
MayB uses AI to extract event information from images you upload. While we strive for accuracy, AI-extracted details (dates, times, locations, prices) may occasionally be incorrect. You are responsible for verifying important event details before relying on them.
6. Event Sharing
When you share an event, a link is generated that allows anyone with that link to view the event details. Share links responsibly. We are not responsible for how recipients use or share the link further.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the app
- Upload malicious files or content
- Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
8. Disclaimers
MayB is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times or that AI-extracted event information will be accurate. Event details extracted from images should always be verified with the original source.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MayB and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including missed events due to inaccurate extracted data.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using MayB and request deletion of your account at any time via the Profile settings or by contacting us.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of MayB shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
